Ingredients:
- 1 lamb heart, cleaned and trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon ground coriander
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 small pita bread or flatbreads
- Optional toppings: chopped parsley, diced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, yogurt sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Slice the lamb heart into thin strips, against the grain.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, smoked paprika, ground coriander, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Add the lamb heart strips to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the spice mixture.
- Thread the seasoned lamb heart strips onto skewers.
- Place the skewers on the preheated grill or grill pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the lamb is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
